Who are we?

Our mission
We’re here to help people and organisations thrive. Whether through counselling, supervision, or consultancy, our mission is to provide thoughtful, grounded support that strengthens wellbeing, builds resilience, and enables sustainable growth.
Our story
We met in 2015 while working at a community counselling charity in South-East England, where, over many years, we found ourselves stepping into a wide range of roles to help the organisation steady itself, adapt to constant change, and ultimately grow. We learned what it takes to run a counselling organisation from the inside: the clinical demands, the organisational challenges, the human dynamics, and the deeper purpose that holds everything together.
Alongside this, we both maintained our own private practices, valuing and enjoying our work with individual clients, which has always been the core motivation for undertaking our counselling training and becoming therapists.
Working side by side, we found a way of collaborating that brought out the best in both of us: warm, thoughtful, and grounded in clinical thinking. We challenge each other, support each other, and think better together, and that partnership became the foundation for Thrive Counselling and Consultancy.
Today, we bring the same values into everything we do: clarity, compassion, honesty, high standards, and a deep respect for the people we work with.
